About these terms
These terms apply to your use of openappbox.com (the “website”) and to OpenAppBox apps obtained from us or the App Store. The website and apps are provided by [nom et adresse de l’entité juridique : à confirmer] (“OpenAppBox”, “we”). By using them, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use them.
Open-source code
The source code of each OpenAppBox app is published under the license stated in its repository. That license governs your rights to use, copy, modify and distribute the code, and it takes precedence over these terms for anything it covers.
Apps from the App Store
Apps obtained from the App Store are licensed to you under Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, unless we provide a separate agreement in the app’s listing. Your use of the App Store is also subject to Apple’s own terms.
Subscriptions
- Subscriptions are purchased and billed by Apple, at the price shown on the App Store for your region.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless canceled at least 24 hours before renewal, as described by Apple at the time of purchase.
- You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your Apple account settings.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
- If we change a subscription price, Apple notifies affected subscribers and, where required, asks for their consent before the new price applies.
Each subscription covers the app it was purchased for. A subscription covering multiple apps is planned for the future but isn’t offered today.
Trademarks
Open-source licenses cover code, not our brand. The OpenAppBox name and logo and the names and icons of our apps are our trademarks. If you distribute your own build or a modified version of an app, please give it a different name and icon so people don’t confuse it with an official release. Using our names to accurately refer to our software is fine.
Using the website
You’re welcome to browse, link to and share pages on this website. Please don’t attempt to disrupt it, access it in ways that bypass its normal interface for harmful purposes, or use it to break the law. Content on the website, other than open-source code, may not be republished as your own.
Links to other services
The website links to services we don’t control, such as the App Store and code hosting platforms. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them.
No warranty
We work hard to make our apps reliable, but they’re provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind beyond those that cannot be excluded by law. Apps that modify files, such as cleaning or synchronization tools, always ask before acting; please keep backups of important data.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, OpenAppBox is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the website or apps. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant app in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law.
Changes
We may update these terms as our apps and services evolve. We’ll change the date at the top of this page, and explain significant changes clearly.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [droit applicable et juridiction compétente : à confirmer], without affecting mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
